Fuel the Music
Thanks to Michigan's generosity, our restoration pipeline is at capacity. We'll reopen for new donations soon.
Donate a Piano
We accept upright pianos from anywhere in the greater Michigan area. Your piano doesn't need to be in tune or cosmetically perfect — it just needs to be structurally sound. We handle all pickup and transport so you don't have to worry about a thing.
Every donated piano enters our restoration pipeline, where it's repaired, tuned, transformed by a local artist, and placed in a public space for the whole community to enjoy.
Your old piano's next chapter starts here.
What to Expect
The process is simple. Here's how it works.
Contact us to let us know you have a piano available

Your piano enters our restoration pipeline and begins its journey to becoming public art
What We Look For
Not every piano is the right fit, but most uprights are.
- Upright pianos only — we're not able to accept grands at this time
- Structurally intact — frame and soundboard in good condition
- Working keys — a few stuck keys are OK
- Located in Michigan — we pick up from anywhere in the state
We'd Still Love to Hear About Your Piano
Share your piano's details and we'll reach out as soon as we're ready to accept new donations.
